Cycling's Greatest Misadventures

Prior to overturning the Relax Team Car, the driver was shouting encouragement out of his window at a rider leading Stage 2 of the Tour de Langkawl. Not pating close attention, the driver let the car go up an embankment, which caused the car to flip. The bicycle crushed underneath has been racked on the roof; it was not one of the passing riders. During the 2005 Paris-Roubaix cycling classic a strong tailwind kept the peloton in a high speed, tight formation over the old Great War cart tracks of northern France. Here a lead rider falls after making it though a mud puddle and the majority of the pack piles up in a mass crash, France - April 2005, Photo: Peter Witek/ PhotoSport International.
